Late 60s Slingerland 'Gene Krupa Sound King' Chrome over Brass 14x5.5"

8 lug design, chrome over brass shell with original "rim-shot counterhoops" and Sound King strainer, internal dampener and butt end.

When the drum came to me, the badge was loose, which would explain the scratches around the badge. I have now tightened the grommet and the badge sits still now. There is aging, scratching and dents, so please see pictures to determine condition.

These are great drums and this one is sold at a great price due to condition. A vintage Ludwig brass snare of this era would be 3 or 4 times more expensive!

Freshly stripped in my workshop, cleaned and polished.

Fitted with new Remo heads and used Tama wires.
