December 1936 Leedy 'Broadway Standard' 14x5" Solid Maple in original duco finish.
Date stamped '3612', dating it to December 1936.
Solid 1-ply maple shell with rerings. Nickel hardware. Engraved 'Broadway Standard' bottom hoop.
All original nickel hardware and fittings. Original damper and felt in tact and unlike many others, the extension piece of the lever on the strainer is still present and functions as it should.
Freshly cleaned in my workshop. Fitted with brand new Remo heads and Puresound wires.
I find these to be a Rolls Royce snare drum. Like a Radio King but crisper and without a clamshell awkward strainer! A perfect studio or gigging snare.
The strainer arm can be extended and pointed inwards so it’s not exposed above the height of the drum for transport. See last three pics.
