3-ply mahogany, poplar, mahogany shell with maple rerings

6 lug with single tension claw/lug design.

Original nickel over brass hardware including P83 strainer, butt end, claws and tension rods.

The drum came to me with a lot of rusting which had transferred onto the hoops. I’ve sanded the hoops back to remove as much as possible and waxed them but there is still some black marks, although these are mostly behind the claws.

This is a lovely example of a marching snare with leg brace and original shoulder straps. Although it’s a lovely addition, I would probably remove the leg brace to avoid rattling if you were going to record with it. There is some scuffs behind the leg brace mount.
