Serial number #1862435
The legendary 402 snare as famously used by John Bonham. I rarely get these in as they are becoming harder and harder to source.
Ludalloy shell with 10 lugs.
Comes with original including internal dampener, butt end, hoops and tension rods, the strainer is a later example but works great and features the period correct black face part.
This example is very nice, with only minor pitting and aging. There is some minor dinks in the hoops and in the shell where the hardware has indented the shell and removed some of the inner finish but on the whole, you’d struggle to find one as clean that’s been played.
See all photos for condition.
Stripped, cleaned and polished in my workshop June 2023.
Fitted with brand new Remo Vintage Ambassador and Ambassador snare side heads, with brand new Puresound Custom Pro Steel wires.
