Comes fitted with original chrome hardware including P85 strainer, internal dampener and 2.3mm hoops.

I fitted new plastic tension rod washers as the originals had completely worn away.

Not as vintage as my usual offerings, but equally as worthy. This is a lovely clean example, and comes freshly off my bench - stripped and cleaned.

Minimal aging.

Stripped, cleaned and polished in my workshop May 2021.

Fitted with brand new Remo Coated Ambassador and Ambassador snare side heads, with brand new Puresound Custom Pro steel wires.

Made from a single aluminum sheet in a matte finish and housed in 2.3mm triple-flanged chrome hoops and bowtie lugs, the Acrolite is a durable piece of equipment with a refined edge. The 5x14 model benefits from a shallower depth with utmost sensitivity and a focused, sharp attack. The 1990s models, sometimes referred to as "Blackrolite," featured a new black sparkle finish that rounded out the original lifespan of the Acrolite series.
