1960-63 Ludwig Super-Ludwig 400 Chrome over Brass 14x5"

This is the legendary heavy chrome over brass shell with signature crimped snare beds and chrome over brass hoops too!

This is a remarkable drum and is a lovely example of such a legendary snare drum.

Pre-serial Keystone badge dates it to circa 1960-63.

This drum comes with original hardware including P83 strainer & butt, internal muffler, COB hoops and tension rods.

The drum is in pretty remarkable condition with only very minimal signs of aging.

A previous owner has sharpied ‘Sky’ and scratched ‘Sky’ on the inside of the shell.
