Kit has been stripped, cleaned and polished in my workshop, and now fitted with brand new Remo heads: Vintage A, Coated Ambassador, and Fiberskyn Ambassador on kick reso. Fitted with repro Sonor decal and Joe Cox Drums tag on kick reso head.
I already have two of these kits, in the same finish. I love them dearly but obviously can't justify a third, so hence my sale. These kits in this collectors finish don't come up often.
Chrome work is quite possibly the best i've seen on any Teardrop kit. There is scratching on some fittings, but there is minimal pitting like usually seen on kits of this era.
13" tom has had edges recut by Newby Drums after damage caused by poorly Russian dolling from shipping from USA. 20" kick has an extra hole beside the cymbal mount. This is barely visible.
The 13" badge was never fitted with the extra tag saying 'Made in Western Germany', who knows why, and the floor and kick badges have been scratched in by a previous owner to say 'Wick'.
Original kick drum spurs and floor legs with the famous mallet rubber feet. There is pedal wear but hoops have been resprayed and look tidy. Wrap, like many of this era, has slight cracks in it but due to the finish, these are barely visible.
