3-ply clear maple interior shells with maple reinforcing rings and original chrome hardware.

All the hardware is original and is in remarkable condition. As is the wrap. One of the best I’ve seen.
Toms are fitted with internal dampeners and work as they should.
There is some snare rash on the 12” and 13” toms, and a little bit on the bass drum where the 12” and 13”s sit. Two lugs at the bottom of the bass drum are worn where it might have been sat on the floor.
The 16” on the seam of the wrap features a little bit of rogue silver sparkles which is an interesting feature. The floor tom mounts are a little worn but seem to hold fine. Above one of the mounts is a bit of damage to the wrap.
The kit comes with original spurs, floor tom legs and double tom mount. The 12” and 13” mounts have the original hex nuts to tighten them onto the mount, but I will include two wingnuts which will make this easier.
All edges look to be original but the 13" and 16" appear a bit sharper than the 12" and 16" but all tune up great and sound how an old Ludwig sounds!

The ‘Big Beat’ and ‘Hollywood’ outfits were both sized the same, the only difference being the snare stand, so you can choose to call it a ‘Big Beat’ or a ‘Hollywood’ set, which ever you prefer! The Ludwig communities use both! Catalog scans shown are from 1975.
