6 lug design.

3-ply shell (mahogany outer ply, maple inner ply) with maple reinforcing hoops.

Niles badge with serial number #22427, and date stamped Sep 1963.

Original chrome hardware, including Rapid strainer, internal tone control, 'Rim Shot counterhoops', butt end and tension rods.

This drum is in great shape for its age. Chrome work is in wonderful shape with very minor signs of aging. There are a few scratches on the wrap but nothing major.

Being a 6 lugger, it is naturally great for some fat tones, not to mention the nice Slingerland rounded bearing edges that make it even more suitable for that sound!

The original cork washer on the strainer had disintegrated (as they usually do), so I have fitted a brand new rubber grommet which works great.

Fitted with brand new Remo Vintage Ambassador and Ambassador snare side heads, with brand new Puresound Custom Pro Steel wires.
