1963-1970 Slingerland 'Gene Krupa Sound King' Snare Drum

Sized 14x5.5". Chrome over Brass shell. 8 lug design.

All original hardware including chrome over brass "rim-shot hoops", Zoomatic snare strainer and internal dampener.

Overall, the drum is in great shape. There is aging which is to be expected, some crazing on the plating of the lugs and a few scrapes/marks on the shell but is a really nice example of a sought after snare drum. See all photos for condition.

As often with these strainers, the dial is a little bent, but dials in straight -t he end is just a little off straight but works all as it should.

Freshly stripped, cleaned and polished in my workshop in August 2020.

Fitted with brand new Remo Vintage Ambassador, Ambassador snare side heads, with brand new Puresound Custom Pro Steel 20 strand wires.
