1966 Ajax 'Nu Sound' 14x5" in Burgundy Ripple, often referred to as 'Raspberry Ripple'.

Manufactured by Boosey & Hawkes in Edgware, London.

Original strainer, butt end and hoops. Damper internal piece doesn't look original but works fine. Lugs and tension rods are also all original and in working condition.

Bit of flaked chrome on the hoops. There is a cigarette burn at the back of the drum, and two extra holes beside the strainer. Scratches here and there, to be expected. 

There is some number stamps on the inside of the shell but i'm not sure what they say and if they have any relevance to its age. I've dated the drum at 1966 as that's when i've tracked it done in the catalogs, although it may be a few years either side.

Freshly stripped, cleaned and polished in my workshop and fitted with brand new Remo heads and Puresound wires.
