Mid 60's Premier '54' Outfit in Blue Pearl 20", 12", 16"

3-ply birch with beech reinforcement rings. 

All fitted with brand new Remo heads: Coated Ambassador all round, apart from the Fiberskyn Ambassador on the kick reso, which has been fitted with a replica Premier decal and Joe Cox Drums logo.

Toms are pre international sized, meaning you have to get special Remo pre international heads to fit. All drum shops can supply these, they just might have to order them in with Remo on their next big order.

Chrome work looks fabs. There is a patch of bass drum inlay missing but it's at the bottom of the reso so you would never know. There is also a random Premier era correct tom mount in the same place. Not sure why but it's still on. This is photographed. 

Tom mount is included. There is an original cymbal mount, but no holder is included. 

Toms have original internal dampers, and in working condition. Toms also have original slotted tension rods. 

I date these drums at mid-late 60's. The toms have the '60's' lugs and the kick has the '70's' lugs, but the 70's style lugs were introduced in 68, so I'm guessing these kit has been put together over the years or it was a Premier employee assembling leftovers parts and drums on a Friday afternoon. 

A small edge repair has been undertaken to smooth out a dent in the edge. The interior of the kick drum looks to have discoloured but is only cosmetic but you won't see it with heads on.
